Last Friday, our LSSSA team headed off to Waverley Primary School in brilliant sunshine to run the LSSSA Cross Country. We had forty enthusiastic runners representing our school and a fantastic cheer squad of parents, family members and friends. Our students demonstrated their ‘Best Me’ by showing encouragement, resilience and perseverance.

There were some outstanding individual and team performances including 1^st places to Aya C, Lachie H & Ally W in their respective races. Our Grade 4 boys team did an amazing job to pick up five of the top six placings, well done to Lachie, Flynn, Jakob, Oscar & Lincon. We placed third overall in Division B which was a great effort against some schools who are significantly larger in size. It was wonderful to see our team and school community supporting each other.
