Last Tuesday on a beautiful sunny, winter’s day, 42 students from Grade 3 to Grade 6 headed off to Symmons Plains to participate in the All School’s Cross Country Carnival run by Athletics Tasmania. Amongst 2500 school children from across the State, our Punchbowl students were amazing, demonstrating their ‘Best Me’!! There was lots of cheering and encouragement which was needed for the tough (and sometimes muddy) course. A big thank you to parents, Nat, Ben, Deb, Sarah and Nardia for supporting us on the day. An extra big congratulations to Aya and Lachlan who got podium finishes and a special mention to Flynn who came a very well deserved 5^th. It was wonderful to hear other community members comment on what a wonderful job our Punchbowl students did supporting each other as well as students from other schools.
